I'm a child of God...prone to live at the extremes, I seek grace and the midsection of life. I am a bit of a homing pigeon when it comes to the state of Minnesota. We've settled elsewhere but my heart still beats in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. The oldest, a planner and (albeit, chaotic) organizer, appreciative of tradition and ritual. I've got lots of relationships...the primary ones covered here are wife, mother and ELCA pastor. Friend, daughter and sister play a lead role as well.
BB is our son (7 yrs). EG is our daughter (5). LP is our two year old son. We also have a dog. (She goes by Annebelle.)
I blog with a slight veil of anonymity. This mostly means I don't use my kids names or photos of them. Depending on the topic, I've made this choice partly to shield my congregation, family and friends, partly because I like the freedom, and mostly because I like to pretend I have control...of something. (and it adds an air of mystery to a pretty straightforward life.)
